Function and Pulse Generators

A function generator produces various types of electrical waveforms over a wide range of frequencies. They are often used for testing and troubleshooting devices used in telecommunications, manufacturing and energy production. A pulse generator delivers and measures a signal supplied to a device under test. Pulse generators are most often used to determine if a signal is reaching a specific location within a circuit or to determine the source of a fault.

The 33250A Agilent function generator produces 80 MHz sine and square wave outputs and 50 MHz pulse waveforms with variable rise and fall times. It features AM, FM, and FSK modulation, 64K memory depth, and a sample rate of 200 MSa/s. The HP 33120A-001 arbitrary function generator produces 15 MHz sine and square waveforms. It features linear and logarithmic sweeps and burst operation. Direct Digital Synthesis technology allows precise adjustment and frequency stability.
